In early 2011, I was working at a small startup that was always on the lookout for viral marketing opportunities. In an effort to garner more page views, I created a mockup for a faux pair of Chuck Taylor Allstars inspired by the hit AMC drama, Breaking Bad.
Not long after, Bryan Cranston's people took notice and decided to reach out.
What followed was a once in a lifetime experience resulting in the actual production of the sneakers, a mountain of exposure, personal commissions from the show's stars, and all culminating with a visit to the set of show itself.
